Our sustainable hotel concept

• We use green electricity from renewable sources – 100 % hydroelectric power.
• We operate a combined heat and power plant and generate our own energy for heating.
• We use LED lights throughout the hotel.
• We use environmentally friendly cleaning agents – and procure them in refillable, climate-friendly packaging.
• We avoid portion packaging, for example at the breakfast buffet, and actively avoid waste.
• We use primarily regional and seasonal products in our kitchen.
• We work to avoid food waste in the breakfast area.
• We work together with an e-bike rental partner.
• We pay attention to the efficient use of operating resources.
• We train our staff in sustainable topics and develop new ideas and concepts together.
• As a company that takes on apprentices, we encourage young colleagues.
• We run our own small herb garden for our kitchen.
• We use climate-neutral rented hotel laundry and have it washed in a resource-saving way.
• We have greened the roof of our new equipment shed.
• The train station transfer of our hotel guests takes place via autonomous bus.
